“Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) 2022,” Asia’s largest blockchain business event that offers a glimpse of the present and future of the blockchain industry, opened at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas Hotel in Samseong-dong, Seoul on the 7th.KBW 2022, which marks its fifth anniversary this year, will run for a week from this day to the 14th. A large number of domestic and foreign game companies and experts who conduct blockchain businesses such as Wemade, Com2us, Nexon, and Kakao Games will participate in the event to introduce blockchain services, business strategies, and related technologies.


The main conference, KBW 2022 Impact, will be held at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas Hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul for two days from the 8th. More than 100 global blockchain industry officials, including Vitalik Buterin, founder of Ethereum, will attend the conference as speakers.

◇ Wemade unveils ‘Wimix Ecosystem Vision‘

Wemade, which participated in the event as a title sponsor, will introduce services such as “WeMix Play” and “Nile” centered on its own blockchain platform “WeMix 3.0” at the Wemade booth and event venue for two days on the 8th and 9th. At the booth, you can watch videos of WeMix’s ecosystem expansion and vision. NFT-based art works of “Nile” will be unveiled for the first time at the NFT Gallery at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), while pixel artwork “London Underground 264” and metaverse project “Tangleed Time Piece” will be displayed.

Jang Hyun-guk, CEO of Wemade, will be the keynote speaker at the main conference “Impact” on the 9th. The theme of the presentation is “The Ultimate Usefulness of Virtual Currency: Games and Metabuses,” and plans to introduce the WeMix ecosystem vision on this day. Earlier, CEO Jang expressed his ambition to make WeMix 3.0 the world’s No. 1 blockchain platform based on WeMade‘s popular intellectual property (IP) “Legend of Mir.” The company plans to establish a huge “inter-game economy” ecosystem that combines goods in all games and external economies with WeMix blockchain and turn WeMix tokens into “the key currency of the game world.”
