While Wemade has established a new Chinese business division to expand the WeMix ecosystem globally, it plans to pour out related momentum from August.

Jang Hyun-guk, CEO of WeMade, said in a conference call on the 27th, “From next month, a blockchain game created by a local Chinese company will be released on WeMix and overseas soon.” He then said, “Of the 100 on-boarding target games, 20 levels are up to China,” adding, “According to Chinese internal circumstances, domestic business in the continent will accelerate from next year, but the business using them will proceed soon.”

Earlier in March, Wemade appointed Jeon Dong-hae (Cheon East China Sea), former vice president of Chinese business at Netmarble, as its general manager of Chinese business, and is speeding up its business in China. Vice President Jeon is called a representative Chinese expert in the Pan-Asian game market. He has accumulated abundant overseas business experience and network through Actozsoft, president of Shanda Games, and vice president of Netmarble’s Asian business.

WeMade is expected to speed up the expansion of blockchain game ecosystem (WeMix ecosystem) in Asia such as China by recruiting former vice president. Currently, Wemade is focusing its company’s capabilities on expanding its blockchain game platform business based on the WeMix platform.

CEO Jang said, “WeMade can have excellent local developers and developers due to the internal situation in China,” and stressed, “When Chinese operators with blocked domestic demand find a way abroad, they will be a great partner with WeMade.”
