Dream Security, a digital security company, announced on the 29th that the face recognition algorithm “Secu Face” passed the performance test in the bio-recognition system certification test of the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

Bio-recognition system certification is the only certification test in Korea that is tested by the Bio-recognition Information Testing Center (K-NBTC) and certified by KISA. A certificate is issued only if the performance test criteria and procedures recommended by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO/IEC JTC1 SC37) have a certain level of accuracy.

Dream Security received mobile-based bio-recognition certification in February last year, and received additional certification based on deep learning this time. “Secu Face 1.0,” a deep learning-based face recognition technology, recorded 99.99% recognition rate and 0% error rate in all areas, including lighting direction, facial expression change, pose, and wearing accessories.

Based on face recognition technology, Dream Security provides face authentication solutions and services in various fields. In February, the company established a smart-pass facial authentication access system in Busan, introducing the first case of linking blockchain-based DID technology and facial recognition technology. In addition, services such as absenteeism and manpower management and access control based on facial authentication that commercialized the mobile facial recognition algorithm “Face One v1.0” are also provided to delivery companies.
